As soon as you step into the Goumas estate, you are transferred to another dimension. Serenity, taste and good honest work ooze out of every stone. It’s you, the mountains, the vineyard, the stone rooms, and the gods of nature. Giannis is a saint-painter having taken many projects of orthodox church renovation and decoration. He creates his wines like he creates his art: with diligence, honour and sophistication. Despina is also a creature of art, a talented and resourceful multitasker, gliding like a fairy from the vineyard to help with daily chores, to the kitchen to produce unique handmade jams and cookies and caramelised fruit symphonies, to the dance-school to keep following her passion and keeping her body and spirit balanced and tuned. Have a sit with these two very interesting artists. Taste the unique wines - make sure you don’t miss the smoked wine! Sample the homemade delicacies! And indulge into the most Greek experience you can have: great food, great wine, and deep conversation on a little slice of heaven!…

We tried 5 different wines & were even given a small plate of nibbles to pair with the tastings. The experience was intimate & very enjoyable as we learned so much directly from the owner. We purchased 2 bottles to bring back to the States, although I wish we had purchased more!…

I love Robola. I know this variety from Kefalonia - it gives fruity, acidity and fresh wines. As I know Art&Wine is the only producer Robola wines on Zakynthos and its - for sure - the best white wine on whole island. They also produce great olive oil and Petimezi (grape syrup). This is "must see" place. Χαιρετίσματα από την Πολωνία και να είστε καλά. …

The dog came to greet us first while were entering the winery. A little tour around the premises, then the tasting with some personal extras on the side. Enjoyed every bit if it, the scenery is great, the host very knowledgeable and welcoming. Thanks for a memorable visit🍷
