We parked in the parking lot and walked to the beaver marsh. It's a wide path and very nice for both walkers and bike riders. We were there on a very nice day and the walk along the canal and to the marsh was very...More

The canal towpath is a fantastic asset to the Akron/Cleveland area!! We stayed in a lovely, historic home near the towpath. Our first day of biking, we left from Station Road Bridge and biked north toward Cleveland. We decided that we would bike as far...More

This is an excellent and very wide multi-purpose trail for both walking/hiking and biking through the park. It offers an abundance of different terrain and numerous photo opportunities for visitors to the park- just be sure to drink/bring plenty of water and some energy bars...More

Great traveling along the canal/Cuyahoga River in the National Park. Go one way and hop the train for $3 to retun to your car.

I can only ride a distance on a flat surface with ease. The towpath was perfect. Lovely scenery along the way. We stopped at the beaver pond to hear about the transition from a volunteer naturalist. The only problem was our route was not a...More

Lock is located close to parking. You don't have to bike to it to see it. Great to see a piece from the past. Lovely trails all around the lock as well.

We had a big group and it was a little too dangerous to walk so a few days later we rented bikes and had a ball. It's pretty crowded on beautiful weekends so make sure your bike riders can navigate passing and people. Look for...More
