This bowling alley is great. It was not busy today. It has an arcade and it has 26 lanes. The staff are friendly too.

Unpleasant staff, not very attentive, not at all concerned about the customer and completely unconcerned about the facilities.
I went one afternoon with my 4-year-old daughter to play a little with the video game machines and the competition machines and I had to ask the staff for support because the machine was not checked and it swallowed the coins, the person who was in charge did not have any type out of concern to make sure it was in correct use, and I had to claim his attention again, she insinuated that it was my fault for using a two pound coin and she exchanged it for two of one. It turned out that I was right and the machine was not checked as they have to be checked before opening time.
The adventure continued in the same way, when I had to redeem the prize tickets, the machine that redeemed them had no paper in the printer and this time when I went to claim at the counter I only received the answer, yes, that is so and I had no choice to claim the details that I could have taken, which was not much, but for a four-year-old girl iwas enough with a gummy packet.
The expensive bowling alley, mainly due to the service received, is not worth it at all, when you go with children to a playground you want to play and enjoy yourself, not worrying about whether the stewardess has her period or breaks her nails when trying the buttons of the machines.
It was my first and last time, very disappointing.

I came here for my son’s 11th birthday with 6 of his friends. They had two games of bowling and a meal. I rarely leave reviews but I was extremely impressed with the customer service received from all employees. I didn’t get their names but everyone who we interacted with was helpful and friendly, nothing was a problem. Two of our party that we had paid for couldn’t make it due to covid and the lady at the reception arranged vouchers for them to come back another time. The bar and food team were amazing and they seemed to genuinely care about us having a great time.

I'm sat in the place trying to play a game with family. The lane won't load the pins, the food took forever to come. Its the worst bowling experience I've ever had. I won't be coming back here again. Lane 19 by the way!

Fantastic day bowling and amazing value. We went here today as 2 families. Kids for 1 games was £5.45 or £7 if you wanted a kids meal afterwards or while you bowl which is amazing value. We bowled and then sat down for lunch. Kids menu was hotdogs, chicken nuggets, burgers with any drink so for £7 this was well worth it. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. I am disabled and the place has various ramps where the stairs are. Lanes 1 and 2 have a ramp down to the lanes which is helpful. All lanes are down 2 small steps but the staff have a ramp to put down where needed. Great day and super value for money hence it was busy. Also arcades are good for a bit of extra time afterwards and parking is on site outside the doors. Only 2 disabled bays near the alley itself but plenty of other spaces. Recommended.

We've been 4 or 5 times now and on the last 4 visits theres been a problem with either the bowls(?) Coming back or the skittles not returning to their position. The 'prizes' on offer on production of the tickets from the arcade bit are more of a rip off than say South shields. If it wasnt for the fact the bairn loves going and the staff are generally good then I wouldn't go back.
