Glad this stone still survives as an important monument to our people's historical resistance to the Romans, but there is scope to do much better with the preservation of the stone and the space around it. The shelter was very intrusive, giving little space to appreciate the stone itself. Still, it is in a nice location with some beautiful trees nearby and a very short walk from a parking bay for those less mobile. Hurrah to our heritage!…

We saw this from the nearby main road and came across to investigate. Good to see a more modern shelter for it. Information plaque available as well.

We were passing by and decided to stop and see the stone. It is covered and there is a little information board inside.
