Cannot believe I haven’t visited before, having always lived locally. Incredible space, incredible food. Really nice atmosphere.

We to see whether things had got any better and they have definately got worse. Just look at the front of the building to see what an atmosphere you can expect inside; a poster stuck in the window over a moonth old, no attractive windown...More

We visited this market for about 100 years or so ago, when our children were small and we were young. And now again. The market is still interesting with eating possibilities, surprises and stuff in every corner upstairs and everywhere. The market is not very...More

My sort of food court - independents selling real food . Had a really excellent Malaysian meal - think stall was called Malacca accompanied by a beer from Little Prince. Bakery looked good . Will return although shocked by total lack of recycling bins .

Always thought the old town was a pub until we wandered in one day... but it's not, it's an attractive market hall full of quirky little stores and food outlets

This looks as once it was a theatre, the front is spoilt by the colour it has been painted. At one time I would have thought the frontage was interesting with some of the stonework. The inside is spoilt by all the changes made.
