This place was a great find. So much to do and lots of space. Staff were friendly. Lovely animals to see and pet.
Go karts were a hit with the kids as well as the climbing bales and trampolines outside.
The only downside which isn’t really the parks fault was the amount of children piling into the soft play and bullying going on. I wasn’t happy with my 6 year old in there while watching other kids punch and kick others and no parents taking responsibility of their kids. They never known a soft play so bad for it. Maybe they could have staff on the soft play monitoring it or limit the number of children inside.
Everything else was lovely :)

Although this attraction is lovely and well worth a visit, it was the staff that really made it stand out to us. Laura in reception was an absolute star and geninely couldn't do enough to help us. The young lady in the cafe was also very friendly and helpful. It doesn;t matter how good the attraction is, if the staff are grumpy it will make you feel like you haven;t enjoyed it. At Tapnell Park Laura and her colleagues all go the extra mile to make sure everyone enjoys themselves and has a great day out.

Lots to do and see here. The kids had a great time - particular favourites were the go karts and toboggan run.
We also ate at the cow restaurant next door which was really good.
The aqua park looked lots of fun, sadly one of mine was a bit too small but next time!

A great farm for the family. We visited for the first time and we were all really impressed with how much there is to do. From all the interactive meets with the animals and all the games/ playing activities which were all free. Our children loved it.
We went on a very hot day, However they have a huge shelter which we sat under to have our lunch and would be perfect if it rained also.
The pedal bikes and jumping pillows were a great hit although bring socks on a hot day as they get incredibly hot. We bought some from the gift shop for a very good price.
Its a very clean site too with good choices from the cafe, good toilet facilities and drinking water to fill up your bottles.
The staff are all very friendly and happy to answer questions about the animals. We would definitely return

We had a lot of fun axe throwing with our family of 12 adults celebrating a big birthday! Our instructor was a great and a lot of fun. The facilities are really good. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

This place has it all and I'm not sure my words can articulate what a fabulous place it it is. We did the aqua park, the farm and ate at the cow (twice). As we went around the farm we just kept saying - 'o wow, look at that over there'. I think you need two days there, at least. Our children are 10 and 12 and I really wish we'd spent a week there, when the children were younger. The IOW is fab anyway and I would definitely suggest you go to Tapnell Farm.

Despite living on the mainland we have visited Tapnell Farm on a number of occasions whilst visiting friends who live locally. I don't think we have ever visited the IOW when there has been good weather but there is always plenty to keep the kids entertained at Tapnell! The football shootout and bouncy pillow are particular favourites for our 7 Yr old. It did seem alot busier even for school holidays but perhaps this is down to Robin Hill having closed.
On this occasion I had planned to upgrade our tickets to a season pass but found that this was no longer an option which was a bit of a shame but I'm sure we will be back at some stage.

Brilliant place to take young children although there are things to keep older children entertained too! The adults also had a good day in our group! The animals are very well kept and entertaining but you almost get more entertainment from the park and softplay , we went on a cold winters day and had plenty to keep us warm and busy. Fair pricing too, and plenty of picnic areas for winter too. Coffees were delicious too. Friendly staff. Definitely like to return and stay in the accommodation.

Loads for the kids to do but does get busy. you have the small animals inside, bigger animals outside, soft play, peddel go karts the list goes on. we went on a cold and windy day and still found plenty to do. worth a day out with the kids.

Can you leave the farm to eat lunch in The Cow and re-enter the farm?
Many thanks

Are all the activities within the Farm included in the ticket price (Trampolines, Go-Karts, mini golf and farm park footy)? I understand the extras such as archery and foot golf are extra.
Written 11 January 2023
Everything is included in the Farm Park admission. It really is amazing value.

Could This Be A Whole Day Thing, Or Is It More Ideal For A Few Hours?
Written 15 June 2019
We stayed the whole day we had children with us and they had a a fantastic time. This was the best day out of our holiday for the family. It definitely is not a place for a couple of hours.Very friendly staff and lots to see and do

Is this place suitable for a couples break ??
Written 21 May 2019
Well I would definitely say that it is. Yes, we went with children and stayed in one of the two lodges with hot tubs - but we commented about how lovely and quiet it would be just chilling without them! Definitely go within term time, and I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Good morning
Can you please confirm if we can visit to use the large cafe only without paying an entrance fee? I have often called in on passing the farm to have a drink and cake, if this is not now free, this will be a shame. Thanks
Written 28 March 2017
Hi, thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately the farm park is a pay to enter attraction and because of the layout, it is very hard to monitor who comes in only to use the cafe so we can't really allow free entry just to use certain elements. Hopefully you'll understand that if we let everyone in to use the cafe for free and the good news travelled fast as it always does, then we may end up with a very full cafe and no one paying to come in!! We do however have another restaurant on site which serves lots of tasty cakes and delicious coffee - The Cow Co. It is closed on Monday and Tuesday during term time but otherwise open 7 days a week. Hopefully see you in The Cow Co soon.

Hello, thanks for getting in touch. Normally school holidays are peak but this Feb half term as it's our first year and there is some work going on we'll be off-peak. Look forward to seeing you soon.
Written 7 February 2017
It was just ÂŁ7 entry into the soft play area for children aged two and above. Adults were free. However the official opening of the farm isn't until 28th May I believe so prices may be re-set then...

Hi All
Since the Farm Park opening its doors in June Dogs are not allowed within the Farm Park walls because of the animals within the park and the childrens play area's. You are welcome to walk your dogs on the green with the #wightherd outside of the Cow Co. Restaurant at Tapnell Farm - which is outside the farm park.
