From a mariner’s point of view Yarmouth Harbour are consistently helpful, cheerful, and creative with their efforts to fit in all of the visiting yachts. The harbour masters are all exceptionally polite and patient and it is a superb harbour to visit. The town is beautiful and the local shop is stocked with some amazing produce as is the deli and bakery. There are some superb places to eat as well - definitely worth a visit

We arrived at 1800hrs in the dark, and an extremely well lit harbour made our journey easy.
Lots of space and very good facilities with washrooms available, including a hot shower in the family room.
Extremely close to town which made buying fresh supplies easy.
Fresh water and electric points on the harbour. Secured entrance with security code.

Tranquil, attractive, harbour, with some very expensive craft afloat. The harbour is set between the the Castle (fort) / and ferry terminal on the eastern (old town) side, and dissected by the road bridge / ferry queue and bus station to the south, with the berths of the Yachting marina, and boatyards to the west. Lovely busy place (at times), whilst at low water the harbour has a really calm air. The Lifeboat is tied up close to the harbour entrance, and of course there are a number of eateries and pubs very close.

We were driving past and saw this place. The place seemed nice and seemed to be shops and restaurants a short walk away. There are some nice boats moored here and the views are good. There is a swing bridge just next to this which is nice to see operating.

We instantly fell in love with this place.
We could easily spend a few hours just watching the boats coming and going, from small dingy's to the huge expensive ones, most of us can only dream of.
Lots of small independent shops, a great pier and even a castle 👌
We also went on the open topped tour bus around the area, and to the needles. Can highly recommend.

You can just sit and watch the world go by, on the jetty/pier, on the harbour wall, on the bit of beach. Yarmouth is just a fabulous place. We took our friend round the town, as it was one of his wish lists areas to see. He was over whelmed he loves the place.

One of my favourite places! Plenty to do in terms of walking, watching, cafe and a little shopping…. And the pier! A beautiful place to visit and it’s a relaxing day on the pier watching the fishermen but also to watch the boats.

We visited yarmouth harbour by boat and stayed 4 days. Big thanks to Ian on the fuel berth for helping with a great sense of humour at a very busy time. How they keep smiling with the amount of vessel movements going on is truly impressive. Thanks Ian and the berthing team. See you soon.

We were staying in Yarmouth & visiting the harbour was a daily event. We loved grabbing a coffee & just sitting watching the boats coming and going.
