If you visit Ryde then do walk along the prom to Appley. The sand is glorious and there are lovely places to stop for ice creams and teas along the way !

This is a very accessible beach with parking very close. The beach is lovely and clean, as is the water. There are chairs etc to hire, and food adjacent to the beach. A great place for a day out.

Did not see any stones on the beach where we were, although there are parts of the beach where stones are present. Walk towards Appley beach.
