Been to the Lowry dozens of times and it's a fabulous place with very friendly, helpful staff (apart from one lady on the desk!). It's a fabulous theatre in a great setting and it's lovely to sit having a drink overlooking the water. We used...More

We first booked our wedding here in March for a ceremony in November. Lucy the Senior Events coordinator was fantastic - making sure that all our questions were answered (and answering some we didn’t realise we needed to ask!). The event managers on the day...More

Theatres are often stuffy and uncomfortable but the Lowry is different. The seats are a little wider and more comfortable than many of the older theatres. Easy parking is available at the nearby shopping centre multi storeys car park but PRE-pay your parking ticket to...More

There is a theatre in there but it is separate to the upstairs gallery where there are plenty of Lowry's paintings on show. Well worth seeing if you like his work.
