Walked from Hartfield to Pooh Sticks bridge and on to Gills Lap and the memorial to AA Milne, with fine views over the forest and heathland. Great for dog walking, birding and fungi foraging. Take a good map as the paths can be quite deceiving...More

Ashdown west Course is a real gem of a golf course beautiful part of East Sussex Great countryside wild life everywhere If you get the chance play this venue great Pros and lovely service staff in the club who provide excellent customer experience

A lovely walk that can talk 30 minutes or 3 hours depending on your route. You can absolutely see where the inspiration for Pooh came from.

The quirk of Asdown Forest is that most of it does not have any trees as these were cut down years ago to make charcoal. It does mean tgat it is great for horse riding, dog walking or just walking. Car parks abound with the...More
