As locals, we just thought we would drop in. Right place & right time as there were 3 platypus making there way up & down the creek. *Hint - go walk under the bridge and up the path, it’s quieter and more peaceful with better...More

This is an average type of walk along a creek bank. It may be possible to see platypus if you are there early or late enough. The only points of interest were a bridge and an old pump house. Not a bad walk, but nothing...More

Wonderful walking trail with multiple places to stop and watch for platypus. The trail is an easy walk and there are benches along the trail to stop and patiently watch the creek for a platypus or two swimming by. We saw several and had a...More

I'm amazed this place isn't better known. We loved it. Gorgeous walk and we saw 4 platypus including 2 that we got to watch for around 15 minutes. I'm Australian and this was my first time to see them in the wild. Fantastic!

This walk is a great way to spend a couple of hours. Most of the track follows the Creek where you can stop and do some platypus watching. There are small historical sites to see as well. The walk is reasonably easy with just a...More

We arrived around 8am and were lucky enough to spot a platypus within a few minutes of being there. Saw lots of turtles and wildlife too. Was incredibly peaceful and well worth the drive!
