    Spectacular moonscape white beach
Spectacular moonscape white beach. Wonderful cliff diving, swimming, beach experience. Be very careful while exploring the caves, make sure you can see where you are walking. In parts it is dark. There is one big step drop off that many people, including one of us fell down. Great photo opportunities.

    Stunning
The landscape is stunning. It’s crowded when you compare with other Milos beaches, but you cannot say it’s crowded when you benchmark to regular beaches. It’s worth visiting for 2-3 hours for breathtaking photos of the contrasting white cliffs and sea. As you approach the beach there is a small bar with drinks, and parking along the road. Must visit.

    Great Views, but ….
The views are stunning. I’d imagine it would be crazy hot in the dead of summer so pack well. No shade. Stay away from the rocks in the water as there is a stinging plant of some kind that will leave you with bites and welts. Less suitable / fun on windy days.

    Phenomenal
We chose Milos because of Sarakiniko beach! This beach is like no other, we witnessed the sunrise which was extraordinary. Less crowded in the morning and those who seek for adrenaline rush, you can cliff jump from the rocks. No regrets, just wonderful memories and experience

    Very unique beach stop
Really out of this world moon like landscape. Beach section is tiny. We climbed around and found a secluded spot early in the morning before the crowds arrived (mainly Americans). Left before the sun started scorching down. Plenty of parking and food van to get drinks/snacks.

    Beautiful!
Beautiful spot! Busy in the afternoon, with boaters, yachts, etc. Food truck near the beach was nice for cold drinks and snacks. Be prepared that there are no bathrooms or umbrellas on site :). You may want to bring a mat for under your towel as all the pretty rocks to lay on are quite rough and not the nicest to lay out on but the views and water are spectacular so well worth it to visit. Some cool caves nearby as well.

**BEWARE VENOMOUS SEA ANEMONES IN SHALLOW WATER**

This beach is absolutely gorgeous, I’d recommend going to take photos but be very very cautious in shallow water if you are planning to swim. 1 star to flag sea anemone problem.

There are venomous sea anemones growing on the rocks here and I was stung by them. They look like green moss on the rocks and can sting if you brush against them. It felt like sharp needles pricking my skin and then the area became very red and swollen after leaving the water and felt like the skin was burning.

I asked the pharmacy and they said the only beach they grow on in Milos is Sarakiniko and the issue is fairly common with the pharmacy seeing around 20 cases per day.

— Sharing what I did to treat it, in case it is helpful. I am not a doctor though so please have it looked at if you are concerned. —

I went to the nearest pharmacy and they told me to apply an “anti-cort” cream 2-3 times per day and lidocaine cream to stop the burning feeling. I also took an oral anti-histamine for 5 days to stop the swelling/redness. After getting back to the US (6 days after the sting) I went to my doctor and they told me to use a vitamin A & D ointment to keep the skin moisturized/prevent itching and to stop using the anti-Cort since the skin was now trying to heal. They said what happened was similar to being stung by jellyfish or bee venom.

Landed on the moon and, although our visit was nerve wrecking, we had an overwhelming experience. For those seeking for adventure and the adrenaline of jumping from a cliff, this is your place. Something different, not your average beach.

this beach is super famous for a reason! i would come here as early as possible (but still expect a lot of people here). it's super quick to get here from the main port town so everyone goes there. i would walk around but maybe not lay out here. it gets super windy. people cliff jump but waves are intense. this is a great starting off point for a beach hopping day.

A must-do attraction in Milos! It's a stunning landscape to walk around, with cool views of the island's coastline. We didn't swim--the beach is just so-so in appearance and based on the reviews it didn't seem like a must-do.

The beach is an easy drive (or bus) from Adamas, Pollania, or Plaka. If you do take the bus, expect to be at the beach for a little while. There was a few hour gap between bus arrival and departures; so, highly recommend at least a one day car rental to make your life easier.

Coming here you will understand why it is called the "Moon Beach".
An enormous white rock over a light blue sea with a tiny beach were laying on your beach towel between a dip and another from the rock.
A must see place in Milos!
