The kids would call it a nature walk, but the rest of us call it a nice hike. Not a long walk but it is nice through the woods.

I'm not really going to call this a hike because it's only 1/3 of a mile, but it is impressive nonetheless. The well maintained gently sloping trail is 99% shaded by tall leafy trees. You can easily do this walk in 30 minutes in conjunction...More

We enjoyed the hike down to the lookout. The lake looked amazing from this place. Nice place to take pictures.

Enjoyed this hike to the overlook. Quiet and pretty. Take camera if visit in fall. The leaves around the water are pretty. This is an easy walk to the overlook.

Had a nice nature walk in this area, their are some off the trail paths along the water which are nice too, and if you're a little more adventurous worth the travel. They clearly are homemade paths, but definitely safe to use. would go back.

We hiked a couple of trails here while visiting Charlotte. The trails are not intense and are very family oriented. Nice, quaint, trails with some beautiful views.

I was in North Carolina last week visiting my son and his wife. She brought me here twice so their dog could have a swim. What a nice place. Lake Norman : unbelievable. People were picnicking, fishing walking or just enjoying the nature. Wonderful.
