The current property is quite large, providing several lake access points for kayaks and canoes and a variety of hiking trails. There is also a nice picnic area and boat rental, though in my three trips to the property this year, I've not seen the...More

This is worth a visit, especially if you are visiting the Raptor Center. It is pricey for the plantation tour, but we enjoyed our visit.

The grounds and buildings are well cared for. There are many animals on site including sheep, pigs, chickens, donkeys and even a Belted Galloway cow!!!

We enjoyed the walk through history. It's a lovely plantation. Lots of parking. We wandered around enjoying it. Wish we had taken the tour.

While I'm glad I went....I do think the presentation of the buildings could have been a bit more informative. The house tour was just ok to me. (Although the speaker was entertaining) Nice to visit if you are in the area.

This is an interesting property to visit. You can take a tour of the plantation house (for a few) which provides a really good history of the Latta family and how the place came to be. After the tour we were about to roam around...More
