These falls are the last cascade on the Cullasaja River, extending approximately 0.25 miles. There are several pull-offs along Highway 64 to view different levels of the river, falls, and gorge.

We stopped at the pull off which is right after a curve. I was a little nervous about cars coming around the curve so you would need to be extremely cautious if children are with you.

a .10 trek down mountain side but so worth the effort. What a beautiful, powerful waterfall. Rushing water and its almost like 4 + waterfalls in one. What a great place to get cooled off and feel the mist on your face.

Most trails allow dogs, if they don't there usually are signs. It's best to buy trail maps at area outdoor stores. Just make sure you clean up after your dog.

Just follow the road to Franklin, NC. There will be a pull off spot on the left down the road a ways. Be very careful as the road is narrow and curvy.
