About
Pharaoh Dive Clubs are small and friendly dive centres located at quiet uncrowded resorts around the Red Sea.Both Marsa Alam and El Quseir are local, friendly towns with a traditional Egyptian atmosphere. Each centre has a unique appeal to suit the different needs of all our divers whether travelling alone,as a couple or in a group. We listen to what you like and tailor the dive sites around you. You will never feel part of the masses but instead part of the family. We are a British owned and operated PADI 5*IDC National Geographic Dive Centre with multi-lingual European and Egyptian staff. The area between El Quseir and Marsa Alarm is considered one of the most beautiful diving regions of the Red Sea and one of the few diving areas of the Red Sea which is still unaffected by mass tourism

Great Dive centre! Listen to the guests and accommodate dives to what you want specifically and can offer dives for advanced divers which has previously been an issue in Egypt at some centres. Will go out of their way to help you and everyone is approachable and helpful.
Guide (Moudi) was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to dive with, more like diving with a friend than a guide.
Although not everything is open yet with Covid they went out of their way to accommodate dive sites that other dive centres said were practically impossible to get to. Will always remember them as the first place I finally came face to face with a shark!
Despite Covid 19 we felt very safe, social distancing in place at all times, masks worn and we saw all our equipment sterilized twice at the end of the day and bagged ready for the next day.
All in all one of the best diving centres I've been too and is such a shame that the camp was closed as the staff and atmosphere was fantastic. Would really recommend to anyone wanting to see the best of the Red Sea.
It has been a pleasure!!

This is a well organised, friendly and accommodating dive centre that I’d be very happy to visit again.
The house reef, North and South is exactly as you’d hope for, with tropical fish from the moment you put your head under water in 1½m after walking in from the beach. There’s plenty of corals and plenty of marine life.
All dives on the house reef are included in your stay at Roots. Nitrox is available at extra cost if you want it.
Trips to Elphinstone Reef (1 - 1½ hour drive) and to other sites are available at additional cost.
There is a resident marine biologist so if there’s something you can’t identify, there’s a man who can.
Roots’ lunch is served in a dining area on the beach, a very short walk from the dive centre, so eating between morning and afternoon dives couldn’t be more convenient.
Night dives, both guided and unguided are available.
The staff are splendid. They carry tanks around, put out your box of dive gear (so long as you asked them the day before), and when you’ve done and popped your gear back in its box they take it away, wash and dry everything. What more could you ask for?
Could it be even better? Lunch at 1:30pm and a standing request that all divers be out of the water by 4:30pm makes two afternoon dives with a sensible interval between them a little tight. Lunch half an hour earlier would ease time pressure.
The only reason that I wouldn’t visit again is that there are so many places in the World to dive. But I’ll probably return.
[I’ve also reviewed Roots Red Sea diving camp (hotel).]

Spent two days with Pharaoh Dive club which I thoroughly enjoyed. Exceptional friendly staff who made these two days very special. Manager Mahmoud was very welcoming and dive instructor Ramadan was very knowledgeable and patient. I got my Nitrox dive speciality course them thank you guys. Diving equipment are of premium quality and safety and hygiene standards are very high. I highly recommend this place for the best dives in El Quseir area of the Redsea.

Pharao Diving is a great place for diving. The club is at the Roots Red Sea, two minutes from the beach. They take the time to brief you, so after that you will feel comfortable. At the beach they have their own private beach and a shade.
The staff is great, they will help you and “they are ready when you are ready”. The guides are real professionals and know the reefs very well.
No doubt if I’m in the neighborhood, I will dive again with them.

Me and my Girlfriend did our BSAC Sports Diver Course with Pharaoh Dive Club. Truly AMAZING! it was our first time diving abroad so we were very apprehensive. But everyone at Pharaoh Dive Club was so good to us and so caring!
The Training was thorough,
The Food was Delicious,
The Staff was Welcoming,
and The Diving was Jaw Dropping.
If I could spell the staffs name I would name them all.....
So forgive me for the spelling of the few I am mentioning
Moudi, Magda and Omar, Saeed and Muhammed!! We Love them!! :)
We cant thank them enough
We will definitely be back :)

The dive centre provided a very relaxing diving experience.
It started out by explaining all the required disinfection rules and steps taken to be able to meet the post-COVID-19 regulations.
We received our rental equipment perfectly sanitized and packed accordingly.
The house reef was gorgeous, especially before the sunset.
The staff was very professional and provided all the necessities instantly.
It was a great experience and I look forward to diving with them more in the future.

We’ve spent a week at the Roots and visited the adjacent diving station Pharao Dive Club. All employees were professional and we had a lot of fun. Right at the door step there’s a huge house reef where you can explore a lot of amazing things. All safety precautions were met meticulously.
A big thanks to Moudi for the amazing diving experience. We will be back soon.

We've been diving for 6 days with the Pharaoh Dive Club. The staff was very friendly and every single day was well organised. They were flexible as to which dive sites we would like to go, night dives etc.The house reef is easily accessible and offers a lot to see. The food offered for lunch is great and of excellent quality. We had a great diving week and would definitely recommend the Pharaoh Dive Club!

What is the best, cheapest and fastest way to get to you from luxor. I want to do a day trip, but may only be able to snorkel about 5 hours. Thank you kindly in advance. Love2love Cinnamon

You need a vehicle and a driver, it is about a 4 hour drive each way. Early morning start and late arriving back. No idea where you would start finding a driver. Hope that helps!
Ps, I do not work at Roots, just been there a couple of times.
