Best Winery on the Cayuga Trail
A wonderful wine tasting experience on the Cayuga Wine Trail. The amazing knowledge of the team was impressive! They honestly spoke about the various selections. It was a great experience being able to sit and enjoy each wine with our charcuterie board and look out over the beautiful view of the lake. This is a different experience than what some of the vineyards offer, but you will come away with a wonderful appreciation of the wines offered and perhaps a few bottles as well!
Wow, what a terrific review! We strive to provide a very different experience than what is found elsewhere in the Finger Lakes region, and are glad that you enjoyed it. Our highly trained team members really love to have guests who are seriously interested in how we make our unique wines, and in discovering new wine knowledge. Please come back again soon!

    first visit
This was our first visit, and we are glad we stopped by. This is a relatively new winery associated with Buttonwood Grove. They use a unique aging process of ceramic casks. The casks are of various sizes. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The flight is five samples and includes a cheese and sausage plate/taste. I don't know if they have other options. Wines were all good. We bought four bottles for home.
Thanks for the great review! As a newer winery, it's especially important to us! Our stone, cement, cocciopesto and terracotta amphorae-style vessels are a real focus of our program - glad you enjoyed seeing them! Please stop in again next time you're in the area!

Come for the view and the wines
First….the view is spectacular and then the wines! The wines are truly spectacular. This vineyard has a brand new space that is gorgeous and the service was top notch. Tastings are $25 and that includes 5 selections and a small charcuterie board. Well worth it

Our wine club visited for a private wine tasting, held right inside the production facility. The staff, the location, the wine were all amazing and we will absolutely be back. Bravo 680!

This was a new stop for my husband and I to visit and it will be a stop, that we always go to each trip to the finger lakes. The wines were spectacular! The gentleman who guided us through this tasting, Oleg , was very knowledgeable and a great source of information. My husband and I also had charcuterie boards, and they were able to make mine a gluten-free one, which was wonderful. The scenery was beautiful and I just can’t say enough wonderful things about the wines we sampled.

This was the 2nd stop for our group of 4 on the Holiday Shopping Spree weekend.
Amazing!!! By far, my favorite of the 6 wineries we visited. I just love the interesting choice of vessels...terra cotta, cement, sandstone. All give the wine such a unique flavor. The food pairing was also my favorite: Tri Color Quinoa Sage Stuffing with Sausage and Butternut Squash.
The tasting was very informative, and we had the chance to walk around out with the vessels-so cool.
I bought 4 bottles of wine: Gruner Vetliner Pet Nat, Riesling, Chardonnay in Sandstone, and Pinot Noir in Sandstone.
Highly recommend this unique winery!!

We tried this winery for the first time today and are so glad that we did. What a unique and special offering! We appreciated their innovative take on Finger Lakes wines using different techniques than you see everywhere else. The tasting experience is definitely elevated with the one on one explanations and wonderful charcuterie offerings. Their take on pet-nat merlot was so surprising as we've never really cared for most of the reds in this region. We ended up buying 4 bottles of it!

This is a great addition to the Cayuga wine trail and the Finger Lakes in general.

Thanks for the great review! We do strive to create unique wines using a variety of stone, concrete, and terracotta vessels, and we love to have guests learn about our innovative processing techniques. Our tasting experience has been created to help people delve more deeply into our philosophy of wine making, and we're glad to hear you enjoyed it. The Merlot Pét-Nat is one of our favorites, too! Thanks again for visiting, and for the great review - hope to see you again next time you're in the area!

Very cool wine tasting experience. Personal explanation of the wine and the wine making process. Wine was good, left with two bottles, Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc. Charcuterie Board was nicely done and a perfect compliment to the wine. The conversation was engaging and fun. Nice stop on Cayuga Wine Trail.
