$22.25 a ticket to get on the Maid of the Mist Boat ride, this Observation Tower seems like it's an amazing tag on the top of the boat ride. I guess there is just a small $1.25 fee if you want this Observation Tower only. It's worth it. How did they build this thing?! What a drop down! What a view of the falls!

Gives you a nice view of the falls from the American side (since Canada is closed off) . It was a plus being in the off season and later in the day when we arrived (3:00) that there was no admission fee to go up and see the falls from this view. Would be cool if they kept it open at night to see the falls from there.

This is only $1.25!!! The best 30 minutes of my life! I do not prefer heights, so I never went to the rails. But the views were still spectacular!!! We went after 9:30am a few days after Labor Day & we were almost alone. Usually it is packed!

Offers some amazing views of the falls. Current prices are $1.25 per person to go up (stairs or elevator) up to the deck.
Easy walk from various parking lots in the main hotel/caisno area.
Not too crowded on a Monday, but I can imagine that the deck gets crowded on the weekends or during the summer.

Well first, there's an elevator to the top.
They only allow 2 groups per elevator car for Covid reasons, I believe.
You get to the top, and the doors open to glorious views of down below, Maid of the Mist, Niagara and Canada.
There are inside bathrooms, water fountains, and covered seating mostly shaded.
It is paved except one area is pretty uneven straight ahead from the deck. Stairs are really wet so be careful.
Railings are very sturdy and most don't have gaps big enough for a small child to squeeze through. But up the stairs railings are wider.

Best $1.25 you’ll ever spend is to view the falls from the observation deck. You can go up to the observation deck and down to the gorge. From the gorge you can take the stairs right up to the falls. The views looking up are not to be missed.

We visited the park at 8:30pm, so we could see the falls lit up. We didn't realize that the Canadian side does fireworks, so we stayed to see them (10:00pm).
The Observation Tower was open, so we watched the colors change from there. It was the best view on the American side. For the fireworks, we went down to the path close to the ticket building.
Parking was free and so was getting onto the Observation Tower.
Our stop was spur of the moment and was a wonderful surprise for all of us. We had no idea that the Observation Tower would be open or free or about the fireworks.

Come here at 9pm for fireworks and light show. Totally worth it and bring your camera for some cool shots.
This place was open and free where we visited it in August and surprisingly not huge crowds, you could get a spot to take pictures easily. The fireworks, and light show work well with the falls. It is a must see when you are close by.

View the falls from the US and Canadian side it is amazing. The Cave of the Winds, Niagara City Cruise, Skylone Tower and Niagara Falls Observation Tower are great. The Zip Line is not worth the time in lines or the money.

Though we have been to the Falls numerous times, this was the first time we went on the Observation Tower and walkway. It extends out over the gorge just below the Falls, and gives a great view of both falls. Only $1.25 for access. Glad we went.

Do you know if Canada currently requires a Covid shot to enter via the Rainbow Bridge

How horrible is the elevator for those that don't love elevators and heights?

it's not a ticketed attraction so should be open. that being said it wasn't raining when we were there. just check on the parks website, lots of information there. BUT don't buy the Niagara pass. only thing u want to do is Cave of the Wind and Maid of the Mist so save yourself some money
