We picked up the best day right after big storm and lake falls was in the full blown capacity. Crossing the bridge under the fall was awesome and great!

One of update New York's famous finger lakes, Cayuga is an excellent example of the unique environment of these special lakes. Glacial carved from sedimentary rock, and nestled between rolling green forested mountains, the lake is excellent to picnic on or boat on.

Didn’t spend a lot of time there but we had a picnic lunch and really enjoyed the view. You can rent kayaks which would have been a lot of fun.

The state parks are the best option for family friendly activities. I'd recommend going to either buttermilk falls or Robert Tremen State Park for waterfall watering holes. Toughannok has a flat creek bed that you and your... More
