Fascinating mansion by one of the Hudson River painters - this Moorish architecture is beautful and the setting over the Hudson is breathtaking. Frederic Church, the artist, painted from his view and it's stunning.

Original paintings in the original house of Frederick Church. Excellent guided tour. The view from the house of the Hudson River is worth the trip. Beautiful gardens. Cute store. I’ve been twice and I plan to return.

Went to the summer market at Olana last week. It was the first of what I hope will be an annual event. There were challenges. Parking was tricky but we figured it out as we were leaving. Booths were clearly juried. Very interesting things to...More

We really enjoyed our visit here. The house is beautiful and well stocked with interesting items from the family and time period. The kids enjoyed the garden and kinetic art installation below the garden. Definitely recommend this place when in the area.
