Well worth seeing and beautifully photogenic. Has to be seen alongside the museum adjacent to it. Leave yourself an hour or so for both.

It was so peaceful walking through the gardens of the memorial. Really worth a visit. The view of the mountain behind the monument is beautiful.
An excellent presentation of the history of the valley with masses of absorbing literature / information in many languages. The annex on the opposite side of the road should not be missed, all part of the initial entrance fee and all staff were most helpful
The R20 entrance fee keeps the gardens well-maintained, so it's worth the price. Pretty to look at and some nice photo opportunities. If you plan well, you can stay for a picnic, but we didn't.
perfect point, perfect set-up… between end of the city and before the mountain… represents the meaning of the region...
We walked here from La Fontaine as a nice walk out of town. It's a nice monument, very well kept and looked after. Quite a few people were visiting whilst we were there, but it wasn't crowded. Worth an hour or so.
The video they have available inside the monument is very informative. The building and garden is worth a visit
