This place is so amazing. The fudge was fresh and creamy. One of my son's favorite treats are the candied almonds. The owner, a nice gentleman, was extremely helpful in finding our perfect choice.

The Fudge Factory was my favorite fudge shop on the boardwalk for many years. The fudge was delicious & the variety surpassed the other fudge places on the boadwalk. Doris, the owner, was the best. So friendly & accommodating & she remembered us from year to year. I would spend around $80 every year there for my family & to bring home to my neighbor. That all changed once Doris retired & her son took over. He's not as friendly or accommodating & even his staff doesn't like the way he runs the store. The fudge the past few years hasn't been as good & when we stopped in this year he changed the whole store around, decreased the size of the fudge section & raised the price. So many less choices to pick from. My husband suggested we try the other two fudge places that we hadn't been to in years since finding the Fudge Factory &, to our surprise, they have a much larger variety now than in the past. We bought some fudge at each store & were very happy wth the variety, taste & price. I think we will be going back to Douglass & Shrivers again next year & skipping the Fudge Factory. It's just not the same without Doris.

I will never ever shop the Fudge Factory again, my fudge was like ice cream and tasted awful, I got maple and even put it in the freezer and it was still soggy I live in Philadelphia and won't be back till next year, but not there I was going to trow it away and my hubby said just leave it in the freezer. $13.50 a pound and it's not worth $5won't shop there anymore.

This place was recommended to us as the best. We did a taste test, and it was the 2nd worst. Service was lackluster at best. Selection fine, but everything was either too sweet, grainy or stale. Granted we were off season in September, but no other fudge store had stale fudge. My daughter bought me chocolate covered strawberries for my birthday...chocolate ok, but berries already turning.

This was my favorite place on the boardwalk for years and its all the way down the end of the boardwalk from where we stay. We went today and purchased 3 lbs to take home with us. One for us the other two for our kids. Ours included vanilla walnut fudge and brownie fudge. Both are extremely sweet, more so then normal. Now it is still very creamy just awful sweet. I am not sure if they changed the recipe but I think we may try some of the other fudge shops.
