Worth the stop - even in early spring. Most of the businesses are still closed, but many are starting to open, with plenty of food establishments available. The boardwalk is long and stretches from North Wildwood into Wildwood Crest. Still not too busy, so this is a great time to visit, enjoy a walk in the sun on the boardwalk, and still social distance. The tram car is not running yet, so the only obstacles to worry about are bicyclists. Looking forward to visiting in May when the spring Boardwalk Classic car show is in town, which I visited several times in the past.

Many would wonder why anyone would venture to Wildwood at this time if year. A good concern. Yes; many of attractions are closed until Memorial day. But just a meandering along the 2 mile board walk is well worth the trip. It's beautiful, empty for the most part. Many are riding their bikes. Many are walking holding hands, and taking photos. There are a few establishments open year round. But the purpose is to get away from any crowds you many have experienced and enjoy the smell of the Ocean. There are plenty of open restaurants a few blocks from the boardwalk.

A shout out to Randy Senna or Randyland on the Boardwalk. He hosts a "connect 5" game in the back of his old school Arcade, Awesome... the best $20 I spent. Heads up, there is no AC... so come ready to be hot, but honestly a great experience.

Busy Place but sometimes difficult to get around because of people stopping and blocking the walk, plus the Tram Car pushing people aside.

Wouldn't return. Maybe I'm too old for all the kitsch that big Jersey boardwalks offer, but this one felt seedy. Wish I had visited the Point Pleasant area instead.
