    Do Not Miss
Absolutely fantastic museum. Very informative, interesting, and well laid out. Love the movies to view throughout along with displays. The volunteers are a wealth of knowledge as well. One of the best museums that I have been to in recent years.

Go early - avoid the crowds
So much to see, and pretty crowded - I'd recommend going when they open as it gets a bit hard to read all the plaques when its busy. We enjoyed our visit here, but after a while found it to be pretty similar. Disappointed in the Speakeasy Bar in the basement. For one thing, it was freezing cold, plus it didnt seem to have much in the way of "atmosphere" - just like a normal bar.

This is a Great Museum that Exceeded my Expectations
I will say I did not have high expectations when our group said this was on the schedule of our Las Vegas activities, but it was a great museum and experience. It starts with the history of Las Vegas and entrance of Mob in shaping the town and gambling industry. However, it also focused on the casino business, showing ways people cheat and the ways people win. Also interesting that the building that host the museum is the former courthouse in Clark County that hosted hearings on the Mob. I came in skeptical, but I left an advocate recommending a visit when you go to Las Vegas.

Interesting museum, great break from the heat
Really interesting museum about the history of the mob in the America, they're connection to Vegas and their history through the decades. Very well laid out and great exhibits with just the right level of details in the signs. Would be great for all ages 11 and up (may not be appropriate for younger kids)

Thought this would be cheesy but very interesting
Someone recommended and we went thinking what the heck. Found it to be fascinating and especially loved the interactive parts like the picture you could take getting booked and displays. Also liked that they included more modern day cartel and gangs. A fun time is to go to speakeasy.

    Definitely worth your time
This attraction has been on my list for a while. It was time to take it off the list. The Mob museum is in the former post office/court room for las vegas. The exhibits are well thought out and go in chronological order. Some of the highlights are the st valentines day massacre wall, AL capone and prohibition, kefavur hearing courtroom, early las vegas, and more modern times. Also some Mob inspired movies. I got the audio tour which is worth the extra $. Don't forget to get a drink at the underground bar.

    Great Museum
Excellent Museum for all interested in American history and culture. Lots of interactive exhibits, plenty of historic artifacts. Well organized and easy to follow exhibits. Allocate at least two hours just for the Museum, not counting distillery.

“This life of ours, this is a wonderful life.”
Cool museum if you are interested in the mob history, which I am. My husband got to hold a real Tommy Gun. My only complaint, which I have with lots of museums, is there were too many people at one time. Hard to see the exhibits sometimes. The Underground was a fun stop after the museum.

    Honest and informative
This museum did not leave anything out. It’s four stories and well organized based on time periods. It’s mostly pictures and some weapons. They did have a brick wall from the St. Valentine’s Day massacre. The distillery experience was a lesson in prohibition and a moonshine tasting which was great. They also have some TV and movie memorabilia. Overall, a great experience. You are not going to see this anywhere else so definitely worth the visit!

    It’s a Vegas must do
Las Vegas is not just about gambling so much more to do. The Mob museum was great , learning the mob’s history in Vegas & across America. Recommend doing one or more of the added experiences . I’m Irish so I did the drinking one. And also visit the speakeasy in the basement. Highly recommend the food and the cocktail’s

So much information! Plan to spend a good 2+ hours touring the museum - there is just so much to see. There are documentary videos of certain mobsters and events, courtroom videos, lectures on different mob events and so much more. We had a great time, but need to go back to finish the tour - did not know it would take so long. They even had a part of the brick wall were the St Valentine's Day massacre happened from Chicago. Will definitely visit again!

No explanations and rude reactions. The security guard kept looking at us for no damn reason and didn't say hello at least
Let's start there and then it was the lady inside who snuck out from these small metal looking doors. She didn't ask why we were sitting in the corner by the lobby she just decided to ask what was the reason we were at the museum for and we told her that it was for the moonshine also instead of informing is that we needed to go to the speak easy which was downstairs and part of the museum she sent us to the gift shop and that was no moonshine there and said we had 15 min she leaves and then once we were done in there we went back to the corner where Ana stayed she then slaps her hands on her thighs as if we failed to do as she told us. The nerve on this lady. We then decided to step outside. That's when we saw the security guard he was on his personal phone when we left before deciding to start over and go back in after me and my husband came back from the bank and dropped 2 of the plans for our day
Before our flight back to NYC.
So we went back in and got our discounted tickets because it was also getting late. The guy at the ticket booth was great.im assuming that lady left and that's when we had a better experience. I mean why does it have to be one person that has to know what customer service is in a business and doesn't especially to domestic travelers that speak and understand the language it's offensive when people know you're not from that place but the same continent and speak the same language I'm offended. Fix your damn attitude Nevada! Your southern hospitality should not be down the drain.

Three floors of information on the mob mostly in the US but in other parts of the world as well. Not good for small kids as there's a lot of reading but great for adults who are interested in mob history

This tour catered to 2 things we love: True Crime and Vegas History. A plethora of things to read with such fascinating information, and there are museum workers standing by, ready to answer all your questions. Along with the tour, we bought the Firearm Training Simulator. It was neat. No spoilers, be sure to give this a try if you feel like "playing cop" for a few minutes.
There is also a speakeasy below the museum with a fun selection of tasty drinks.

Housed in a beautiful old building (I think it was a post office). Great exhibits, quite a few videos you can sit and watch, many artifacts and pictures. Has the history of the mob and law enforcement. We did the self-guided tour and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I had an awesome time here. I love the mini movies, artifacts, pictures, and even the ole’skool speakeasy. I was able to go at my own pace and taken everything around me. There’s sooo much information, you almost feel like an expert by the time you leave.

A friend who lives in Las Vegas highly recommended this museum, and after going there based on his advice, I highly recommend it, too. I'm a veteran museum goer and fairly critical about how artifacts are displayed and information is presented. The designers of the Mob Museum knew what they were doing. You start on the third floor (yes, there are elevators) and work your way down. There's even a speakeasy in the basement that offers drinks and has a number of exhibits on that subject. The coverage of the Museum's collection is extensive. It deals with not only the Italian crime mobs, but also those of the Irish, Jews, Chinese, etc. There are countless artifacts of objects associated with crime figures, including guns, of course, but also purses, typewriters, etc. They even have a section of the wall (imported from Chicago) where the 1929 St. Valentine's Day Massacre took place . The efforts of law enforcement in containing organized crime takes up almost as much space as the criminal element does. Since the building housing the Museum was formerly a federal building, you are able to sit in the very court room where one of the Kefauver hearlings of organized crime took place in the 1950s as you watch a short film on the subject. In fact, several short (2-5 minute films) thorughout the museum allow you to sit and rest occasionally. There are even exhibits about modern-day organized crime including everything from animal poaching, human trafficking, and product counterfitting. Current organized crime issues like the drug lords of Mexico are explained, with maps showing areas that each group controls. This place is worth seeing. I spent three hours there, but you could pass through in an hour, if that's all the time you had. There are a few features not included in the admission price that you have to pay for separately, but I didn't participate in them. And be aware that you can save 30% on adult admission if you arrive before 11:00 AM.
