We stayed at the amazing Cosmo the first weekend in March which happened to be the opening weekend for Marquee Dayclub. The weather was in our favor so my fiance and I decided to check it out on Saturday and ended up getting a daybed for the 2 of us. The day itself was fun with decent entertainment and drinks, but I would never go back- Encore is WAY more fun. The nightmare happened when we checked out of the cosmo a few days later and discovered our sleazy dayclub waitress tipped herself $700!! No one seem shocked which means they do this all the time assuming drunk people won't notice. Needless to say it took a month of fighting with cosmo and marquee to get our money back and they still expected us to pay! Karma works in mysterious ways now that this low class establishment is permanently closed for a few months :)…

A group of us -early 30s - wanted to get some drinks after the first dinner of a bachelor party weekend so we headed to Marquee. luckily we skipped the line somehow because I would have been way disappointed to wait to those lines for what was inside. Crowded, but bar service was quick. I’m convinced if you’re not getting bottle service at a Night club in Vegas Then you are wasting your time. Just go to a bar or a lounge. Unless you really like the DJ then that would be the only other reason to go and not get bottle service…

My company hosted a User Conference at the Cosmo and rented the Marquee for the final party. It was great! There’s plenty of seating area, both indoors and outdoors. Inside area has a dance floor with a DJ, bar area and buffet style food (upon request). The outdoor area is amazing. There are Cabañas with individual small pools plus the larger pool. During winter they place warmers throughout (thank god...because it was chilly that night). Buffet style food was served in several stations, each different. The view of the Vegas strip from the terrace is amazing. All in all: a terrific location for a party.…

Horrible. One star is one too many. Security is full of unpleasant people with a hugely overinflated sense of self-importance and has limited control of what actually happens at this place. It’s a long story but basically a security guard thought we were trying to approach a C-list celebrity we’ve barely heard of when actually we had been swept up into a crowd and were just trying to get back to the table we paid for. So he directs us toward another bouncer who was unintentionally directing people the opposite way. Both of them were pushy and rude, more like what you’d expect to see at a strip club in the Bronx than at a supposedly upscale night club (side note, am I the only one noticing all of Cosmo becoming increasingly trashy over the past couple of years?) By the time we made it back, I tried talking to the GM. He was the rudest, most unpleasant GM I’ve met anywhere. Picture trying to discuss your nightclub experience with someone who seems like an odd cross between Elton John and DaBaby. You’d think he would listen and try to understand why you might be upset that people are stepping all over your girls’ feet when you paid for a table, and security is making things worse, but instead he only wanted to argue and escalate. Not at all what I’ve seen or would expect from someone in a similar position. I mean why am I paying for a table when so much of your club staff is oppositional? The hostesses and the guy that walked us in were great, but wow what a disaster in terms of security and management staff. In the end we decided to leave with more than a thousand dollars remaining on a prepaid table minimum instead of continuing to deal with staff, who was completely rude and inept, with limited access to our own table secondary to poor crowd control. Worst night I can remember at any nightclub (including seeing Drake in Canada). After booking tables multiple times in the past at this place with mixed results I certainly won’t be back. Which is a shame because it is in a great location. My advice to people less familiar with Vegas would be to go with Hakkasan or XS. You have better options.…
