I really enjoyed myself the few times I went. Beautiful scenery. What I didn't like is the parking garage area is very dirty. The elevators and surrounding area are not very clean. If it was one time ok but since I've been numerous times in a very short period. They definitely are not keeping those areas clean. They need to send a cleaning crew to each level and do a good scrubbing.

We stayed here through Airbnb in September. The whole place was almost deserted. But that gave us the peace and quiet we sought. The walks around the lakes and along the river are easy to navigate and we saw so much wildlife, a Coyote with her pups, heron, osprey, snakes and tortoise. The casino was shut (no worries there) but most of the bars and restaurants were open. This is one place we will always go back to

Lake Las Vegas is close to the center of Henderson NV, and not a long drive from the Strip. But it has the feel of being "far away" from Vegas, so that is kinda nice. Most of the area is dedicated to new construction of private home developments, but there is the Village in the center of town that consists of some beautiful hotel/conference centers, a large artificial lake w water activities, and a quaint walk-around retail village. At least that is what the pictures show! But the village is 80% empty storefronts. We counted two pubs, one large Italian restaurant, one chic cafe, one Mexican themed bar/grill, and a chocolateria. No shops.
And a corner grocery. It has a European theme and look, very Tuscany. Take lots of pix. But we cannot imagine spending a few days there, unless you dedicate yourself to the (pricey) water activities/rentals; or you are just attending a conference. The olde Casino is closed, except as a catering hall. The area has a ton of potential, but it would require the wise guidance of a strong project manager to recruit and diversify the village and retail side. There were very few dining options (outside of the hotels); and no shops to browse.

Lake Las Vegas is not only a year round retreat for outdoor enthusiasts, but is specifically a winter refuse for snowbirds, and a locals destination for those who live in Las Vegas/Henderson. Its our perfect 'getaway' to have fun without the noise and bustle of the LV Strip to contend with. Jan-April the temperatures are higher than other areas near Las Vegas/Henderson, and near the upper 60's and 70's. As the season approaches summer, in May, the outdoor sports equipment becomes available -
-boats for rent
-paddle boards
-jet skis
-kayaks

I prefer to rent equipment and return it to the business to maintain and house, rather than trying to find a place to store it and maintain at home. It's been found to be more cost effective.

Renting one of the many condominiums for rent on a daily basis in the nearby condo hotels, for less than $100 per day (total), was like having my own personal concierge on quick dial at all times (although I didn't need it) - personal service to the Nth degree. Very clean and every one felt very safe in the area.

Friends had a get together for a weekend at Lake Las Vegas to partake in the delicious food, and outdoor sports -golf, spa, and Montelago Village's many amenities. Spa Ravella has a temperature controlled outdoor pool/spa with outdoor bar and food service, just an impeccable place to relax and get away; and indoor steam rooms/jacuzzi, massage, gift store. The numerous restaurants in Montelago Village had impeccable delicious food, and offered jazz and a new Wine Bar restaurant we intend to go back to that offered an array of (guessing) what appeared to be ten bottles of wine open on tap for you to indulge in at your choice with your meal.

We had a great time!

Love love coming here for 15 years. It doesn’t matter if the resort is half closed I still will come and enjoy the beautiful setting and support the local businesses trying to stay open. It could be worse I’ve seen it worse so I feel they are trying to pull it out of a funk.

I’ve stayed there for many years when it was a Ritz-Carlton. I must say that Hilton runs the property as well as the Ritz. As a Hilton, it remains a favorite destination with excellent service. The in-house restaurants remains well above average as does several of the restaurants in the adjoining village.

We enjoyed out stay recently at the condo we rented at Lake Las Vegas. You will need a vehicle if staying out here because it is a bit of a drive. However, it is quieter and away from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. The resort has a nice pool area and a couple of restaurants. Our condo was clean and quiet and well appointed. We were looking for a quiet location, so this filled our needs exactly!
