They have very interesting artifacts and displays that tells the history of Nebraska. They do have some interactive things for children learn from. You will be amazed at the size of the skeletons of the mammals.

I've been going here since I was a kid. I'm a museum geek and enjoy spending time in them. Mammoth bones, sloth bones, and information about how the area has change is exceptional.

The last two times I have gone here parking has been atrocious. Getting to the place is also difficult as the streets around it are always under construction. After two years you would think some of the projects would be done. The museum is stuck...More

A great place to spend an afternoon. Standing by the skeleton of a prehistoric elephant or hanging out with some really strange creatures can really stir your imagination. Well displayed and good documentation. Beautiful gallery on Native Americans with excellent audio and visual info. Intestinal...More
