This is our 6th year coming to Lazy Days and we LOVE it. Craig is the best. We've camped and stayed in cabins and enjoy both. Coming back in July with the parents and kids for family fun in cabin 16!. For family fun I suggest you float during the week or Sunday. Saturday is definitely for the party crowd.

Great place to enjoy the river. We had cabin 16. It was right in front of the river and a great swim beach. The cabin was nice a clean it has two bedrooms each with two double beds and a loft with a queen sized bed. (Bring all of your linens). All the staff we had contact with were very helpful. Craig was great. He came in clutch with a wine corkscrew because we forgot ours.
I would absolutely come back to this resort/campground.

My husband and I are both veterans and have been deployed to third-world countries during our military tenures. Suffice it to stay we have stayed in some less than desirable conditions, but nothing compared to the filth of the cabins at this resort. If we tried to accurately describe these unsanitary conditions in this review, you would think we were exaggerating. So to offer just one example: upon arrival we actually had to scrub/bleach dried excrement off the bathroom light switch and sink. When we discussed this with the owner and showed him the condition of the toilet, which none of us would touch even to clean, he said the cabin should not have been in that condition, but that his cabins are the cheapest in the area.

Don't waste your money on a cabin at this campground. The cabins were little more than shacks and were obviously never taken care of. The smell was the first thing you notice as you walk in which smelled of old rotting wood and garbage. The front door had a hole in it as well as the screen door. The kitchen cabinets were rusting and would barely open or close. The sink clogged up the first time we used it and the pipes began leaking on the floor. The main area had two very low quality futons that smelled horrible. There was no table in the cabin at all. The main bedroom had a bed that was broken, the boxframe was broken on one corner and the management said that their response to that was to break the other corner of the box spring. The bunkbeds were huge and made of unsanded wood contributing to many splinters. The air conditioner worked well, except for the fact that is looked as if hadn't been cleaned in years with dust and dirt covering it. There was no toilet paper provided in the bathroom, and no trash can in the kitchen. The water that came out of the faucet and shower reeked of sulfur. On a positive note... sorry, there was none.

Just be advised that they say that they have quiet time but do not enforce it. If I didn't want quiet time (on a relaxing vacation) I would have stayed at Wayside. But no they promised quiet time, on the website, phone. and in person. When I complained the owner explained to me that the loud party had brought him more money than myself and my husband so we could just leave. We did and got a refund. Bathrooms are at the front office and a long uphill hike from the campsites. My main thing is if you don't enforce quiet time, DON'T SAY THAT YOU DO! Families were leaving left and right. It was unacceptable.

We trusted the pictures on their website. We were told the cabins were remodeled. It was the dirtiest, grossest place I have ever seen. Filthy bathroom, couches we were afraid to sit on. The doors wouldn't even shut. Screens useless. Roof was leaking in many places. 200.00 a night!!!

No complaints. Every single staff member was so polite. Even when our group of 20+ , the owner was not rude what's so ever.. He just simply asked to quiet down, and so we did( tried.) owner Craig S is a VERY helpful and nice guy. Lazy Days campground is our place, and will always be. Please.. Summer.. can get here any sooner:)

We had a blast during our float trip! We floated on a friday and saturday. The water was refreshing and the float was awesome. We stayed in the cabins. Good value for the price! We definitely will float again!!

Holding your reservation and then changing payment to cash would not be a problem. You will find the staff most accommodating.
