Heavily restored, the curator had various stories but really there seemed to be very few real facts. There were a couple of article of clothing reputed to of been his, but not a lot else.

The curator was very attentive and very informative. He spent ages talking to us and telling us about the history of the place and about Peter the Great himself. We found this a fascinating museum.

Vert small, just one room, but lots of clear exhibits, and the guide has a wealth of interesting facts if you can speak Russian. Cheap entrance fee, so worth it if you're passing.
