Have been meaning to visit here for years, when we come from out of town occasionally. It’s a first class place with wonderful art. We particularly enjoyed the lovely porcelain pieces, that became pure propaganda after 1917. Gift shop is huge and also full of...More

Small guided tour/lecture was short and informative. In an old church with easy access off 35W. HUGE collection of Matryoshka dolls (nesting dolls) is worth the visit alone!

My interest in Russian art doesn’t run very deep or wide, but the porcelains we saw in the Russian Art Museum in Minneapolis greatly expanded my appreciation for Russian arts and crafts. Seeing those porcelains made the investment of time and money ($8 for seniors)...More

This is a small art museum set in a historic building. All the artists are Russian and you get a different view.

I have been to this wonderful museum several times. Watching football? Visited Russia in May 2018 and fell in love with their art. Wanted to see the latest exhibit and it was great. This museum also has a fine gift shop. I highly recommend it.

This museum has rotating exhibits. I was hoping to see the Russian Icon Exhibit but the current exhibitions were astounding. The museum is in an old church that is beautiful inside. 3 levels and all are handicapped accessible if that is needed. Entrance to museum...More

Unfortunately there was only 1 exhibit downstairs and all by 1 artist. Tours suspended until exhibits are re-opened. I would have liked to see it all. :/ They only charged $5 b/c the small offerings. I liked a few of the artist's pieces. I am...More

We went here on a Sunday with friends to see a special exhibition of Russian icons. When we got there, we only had a couple of minutes to wait for a free tour of the museum. The tour started upstairs with the permanent collection. The...More

The museum concentrates on Russian artists, or those from former Soviet countries. We were there on a Sunday, and the artist on display on the 2nd floor was on site, and we got to say hello to him, while observing his artwork. Well worth the...More

Sorry, no restaurant in the museum. But there are various kinds of eating places fairly close. I'd recommend calling the museum and asking for a recommendation.

There wasn't in the museum and it's literally next to the highway. The other streets around it were residential. But, I'm sure you could find a few places to eat within a mile or two. Lots of little neighborhood places. Hope... More
