This city park is a local gem. Popular with residents and visitors, you can enter the Lakewalk for walking, running or biking. In the summer/fall it's ablaze with roses and various flowers for stunning photography.

Beautiful park and rose garden in the summer. A great escape to just take time walking and relaxing. Bring a picnic as it is the perfect picnic spot.

I like the Leif Erickson statue. I'm guessing this park is much better on a day when it isn't drizzling and cold.

We just came across this park when driving by and decided to stop. It was well worth the time to explore. The rose garden was beautiful as well as the rest of the park.

The Leif Erickson Park and Rose Garden is a meticulously maintained public flower (rose) garden perched over Lake Superior. It's definitely work a visit (or many visits).

The Rose Garden is completely accessible by wheel chair or any device, and is flat. There are shaded areas to sit or rest and lots of lovely flowers, roses and other varieties. There is also a public restroom there.

It's a park it's open all the time, there is no gate to get in. Although I think they discourage visitors past 10pm.
