When I visit Duluth I immediately take this walk as it is safe and so accessible from all the lodging on the lake.

The walkway in the Canal Park vicinity was heavily damaged by two vicious storms and it will take some time to repair. However, it still is a wonderful place to see the Lake (and other people) while you get in a 1-5 or more mile...More

Beautiful gardens and view of Lake Superior. We were fortunate to see a ship go through the Elevated Bridge! Walk was also interesting with little hills and lots of beautiful trees. Well groomed.

We walked this trail as part of a larger endeavor called the Superior Hiking Trail. While walking the trail we got to eat lunch at the Canal Park Brewery which was awesome. This trail might also be used as a bike trail or roller blading...More

A must visit for Duluth Canal Park area! Beautiful walk, Friendly Faces, and amazing views! This was so much fun to do and the random history was nice!

We love strolling on the Lake Walk between Canal Park and the Rose Garden. It's a scenic, easily accessible trail. Sadly, severe storms in the winter of 2018 tore apart sections of the trail, and it sounds as if repairs will happen soon.

This is a wonderful trail to walk or bike. We stopped at the Portland Malt Shoppe and then we continued on the trail and rode our bikes all the way up to the Glensheen Mansion for the tour. It was about a 7 mile ride...More

This walk is so well done you must do it. Perfect way to stretch the legs if you’re just driving thru, or perfect summer stroll. Walk from the canal park all the way to the rose garden ( must do). Best city park area ever!

We all enjoyed using this walking path! Great views along the way. Even on our gloomy day it was a great experience.
