I'd rather be in Two Harbours, at the Lighthouse that has SPECTACULAR VIEWS AND SUNSETS. The lake walk was OK, nice views of Lake Superior, but WAY too crowded, including horse and carriages (not worth the price).

Be prepared for weather changes. The fog rolls in and it gets damp and cool....but absolutely gorgeous!

A must on every trip up north. Along sides of restaurants & up to flower gardens, or down along pier & bridge.

We loved the lakewalk. We spent several days in Duluth and during our time their walked from aquarium to Leif Erickson Rose Garden and to different places in between. One of us walked, one of us skateboarded, and two of us sauntered! We highly enjoyed.

My husband and I rode our bikes along the walk. Easy ride. Loved stopping by the rose garden. So many varieties of roses! Great views of the lake.

Went for a short walk to see the damage that had been done earlier this year. It makes you think of the strength that the water and storms can do. It is slowly getting cleaned up and is still a nice place to visit.

If you go in the summer, start out early. My 10 o'clock it starts filling up and later in the day, it's a zoo!

The paved path is good all around Canal Park and between Canal Park and downtown. The separate boardwalk beside the paved path was washed out in places, but what remains is good for standing to view the lake without being... More

The full repair will be done in the spring once the weather breaks but the lakewalk and most of the boardwalk is in perfect shape. The city closes the area around the lighthouses as it is dangerous with the ice that... More
