Beautiful white pebble beach on the island of Vis. In my opinion one of the most beautiful (beaten only by Stiniva). Easy to reach and in my opinion not too crowded by Italian standards. There is a large pine forest behind that offers shade at will so I do not Recommendation to bring umbrellas

Try to approach it by car since it it long walk by foot even from closest village Rukavac and inconvinient road for a bike. It is well known beach, reccommeded by many but it's not the best. Seabad and beach are full of medium stones which can be very uncomfortable, it hard to enjoy the beach on them. It is also a tourist spot so for sure you will not find peace and comfort here, many families with children come here. If you are looking for little bit more private and intimate place do not turn to srebrna from, just follow the road until it's end and you will find beach named teplus where sea will equally beautiful, and you will enjoy in much more privacy and it will be much more peacefull.

Beautiful beach located at the south-eastern coast of Vis island, close to Rukavac bay.
To reach it leaving from Vis, you have to follow the old route leading to Komiža, following then the direction to Rukavac. Just before the village, an indication to Srebrena will lead you to a wide parking area (unattended), where the car has to be left; a trail through the forest, some hundreds meters long, will drive you to the bay.
You’ll find a pebbles beach waiting for you, surrounded by two rock wings, with a pine grove behind, offering a shadow casting at the hottest hours.
Just before accessing the beach, two chemical toilettes and a kiosk are available; since we’ve been there in the month of June, the kiosk wasn’t in operation yet.
The available space is huge enough to guarantee tranquility, even in case of substantial presence of bathers.
The pebbled beach allows an easy access to the sea; in correspondence of the rocks, the sea water becomes immediately quite deep, with an access to the sea that remains sufficiently easy anyway. The water is crystalline and the presence of sea urchins guarantees its pureness.
In my opinion, perhaps the most beautiful beach, between the several ones tested in the island of Vis.

This is a popular spot in the south of the island thanks to flat rocks for sunbathing and trees offering shade. A bit of a walk down to get there from the road but there is a bar and you can hire sun beds. A quieter and smaller beach/inlet is Ruda bay just round the corner.

This bay offers great water and swimming. But other than that it's a croatian rocky beach with mini taverna (shed) cooking food. Sadly the guy tried to double charge us for food and drinks, twice! On vis this is as good as it gets if you want a beach like experience with pebbles, rocks and the odd sea urchin

We went on Srebrna beach at begining of June. It is a lovely pebble beach with plenty of shade under pine treeses. Also, on the right side there are flat rocks that are also nice.
Very recomended, one of the best beaches on island Vis.

What a beaut!
It's a pebble beach with flat rocks also great for sunbathing which is what we chose for some quiet and privacy.
You park up and walk 5 mins down the beach - it's a gradual decline so nothing strenuous.
There is a little bar and cafe with seating under the pine trees serving snacks and drinks. It also has a toilet which is a bonus.
The water is crystal clear, there are for trees dotted along the edge of the beach providing shade for those that want it.
A clean, truly beautiful cove.

It is a lovely area which is very family friendly. I am not one for stony beaches, but if you wear some kind of foot covering, it is fine.

Beautiful beach. Not too crowded. Possibility to sit or lie in the shade as well. No showers nearby, but the bar under the trees has a toilet, you do need to ask them to collect the key.
