Another nice stop in Holland. Beautiful boardwalk along the water. Statue given to the city by the Netherlands. Great place to go for a walk.

Whether enjoying a picnic, listening to music in the bandshell or people watching- on land or water- Kollen Park is a great place. Plenty of parking, restrooms, lots of grassy areas, picnic tables, a very nice playground for children, and breezes from Lake Macatawa offers...More

A really nice park with a very large play-scape for the kids. The entire area is grass and borders the south-east end of Lake Macatawa. It is only about 1/2 mile from downtown Holland and next to a great restaurant favorite, Boatwerks ($$$).

Went with the family for a picnic. Great area to watch the boats come in and out. Romantic for a date or fun for the whole family with the playground nearby. Seemed like events were programmed often at the park or pavilion which would have...More

Stopped for an early evening walk and was not disappointed. The scenery across the lake was beautiful and we enjoyed walking the path. Many people there fishing and having picnics. I bet it looks even lovelier at sunset. My kids enjoyed the playground there which...More

Just a beautiful park to walk along the water. We enjoyed sitting on a bench, just relaxing and watching the Calumet Ship sail out of the area. There is plenty of parking, a bandshell, a playscape and lots of benches to sit on. We even...More

This is a very large park, on the Lake Macatawa waterfront. It's a city owned park that is beautiful right on the waterfront. Play area for children to climb and slide on.

A perfect place to casually ride bikes or stroll alongside the water. With plenty of benches and shade it is nice on the hottest days of summer. This park always delivers scenic views with peace and quiet and fishing is allowed as well. We always...More

We stopped in Holland on our way home from Saugatuck and thought we would just walk around the main shopping area but happened to come upon Kollen Park and decided it was better to walk along the river. A great choice! Very pretty, very quiet...More

The walkway isn't that long. I'd say 1/4 to 1/2 mile. Probably better places in town if you are a runner.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Kollen Park. Pets are welcome at many of the Ottawa County Parks or at the area's two dog parks. Thanks!
