Me and my friends from Stockholm decided to go on a day cruise with MS Ceres, after recommendation from relatives to one of the friends. Great treatment from the deck and check-in personell on arrival. Nice and well-skilled tablewarers, even if they had a lot to do. The food was really good. Nice with a varied meny, as me and my friends have different taste. Clean and sweet-smelling toilets. Old boat but in really good condition. One could see that it has been restored. Really beautiful environment alongside the canal. The sun was shining and we could see lockagages with beer in our hands. It was like a theatrical stage to see the decksmen in well inter-action with the skipper descending us down to Berg. Much experience for a low amount of money! We tried to investigate the options of a canal tour from Borensberg to Berg. We had two options. The other one did not seem professional, so we went for PnP. Several things went wrong: 1. They did not start from the point at Berg that was said (so everyone had to go to another place, across the canal). 2. The ship was NOT clean (just look at the toilets and you can imagine what the kitchen will be like) 3. The food (expensive) was cold... and the worst: 4. All information was inaudible. We asked the crew and they said "It is going to be improved". Believe it or not. That did not help us. We should have our money back! We should tell you this: We went be another canal company around Gothenburg, actually "Around Hisingen" by Stromma boats. That journey was a joy: Good warm food, clean toilets, left (and arrived) in time AND their INFORMATION made the journey! Not so by PnP!! Hope this helps you to make a better choice! I went with the boat M/S Ceres from Berg together with my family and I can really recommend this! Great tour, nice crew and fantastic food!
