What a cute/quaint town. We stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. So many neat things to see and do. The restaurants and lobster were fantastic!

We came here every non-raining morning at 6:25 for sunrise. Well, actually, it was cloudy every single day, so the sun was not the attraction. The ocean was. You can read in other reviews about the Adirondack chairs. I sat there some mornings. Other mornings...More

Our favorite beach in the world. Three mile + flat walking beach with bathrooms, restaurants and amenities. Parking at $25/ day but the lots fill early on beach day weekends. Typical tourist type area, so don't expect cheap prices.

Love this beach! so easy to get to since Trolley cars run to and from here frequently - bathrooms nearby and food service....even a place in the shade to wait for the trolley

Great family place. Clean, well organized and easily accessable by foot, trolly or car. The change of tides offer a unique experience. Particularly by the bridge. The terraine and landscape really changes with the tide. Its great.

Very rough when I visited, but the waves were crashing. The area where the river and ocean converge was roiling.

Went in the evening. Tide was out. We could walk nice and far out the sand was cool. The water was chilly. Just beautiful.

Wow. Visited this beach from Wisconsin and at low tide, it compares with the best. Plan a visit here at low tide and you won't regret it. What an AMAZING experience!

There is a small lot about a 5 minute walk from the main lot which I think is $15 vs $20 so not too much of a savings. Def better taking the trolley.

Dogs on the beach are allowed in the off season. I do not know when the off season begins and ends, you could probably call the town or Chamber of commerce

We stayed at the Beachmere inn. Not sure of costs. It was really nice. Very well located.
