A true local 'gem' in Biddeford.
Mar 2021
We're happy Banded Brewing is open during the pandemic for inside drinking (and eating). He had the Charms and Hexes fruited sour ale and I had the Petite Biere French-style table saison. Both were great!

A flight of lagers
Oct 2020
Banded Horn is now called Banded Brewery Company. (I've notified TripAdvisor). So, it had been a while since I dropped by. Seeing that it's October, it was a great time to try their Oktoberfest amber lager. Also tried the Surf Logger (a Kennebunk lager with sea salt), the Daily Special (Vienna lager), and the Dark Orb (German black lager). They were all good, especially the Oktoberfest. All pandemic precautions were taken (hand sanitizers on every table, masks, individual-use paper menus, social distancing).

Excellent Reuse & Beer!
Jun 2019 • Couples
Located in a spacious wing of the historic and huge Laconia Mill in the Biddeford (& Saco), Maine. The former Mill now host to a wide array of business and budding entrepreneurs. I'd say Banded Horn Brewing has transformed from Budding to Business.

Their space is part industrial museum with a fun and whimsical atmosphere. Featuring arcade pinball and electronic game machines, ping-pong, and a corn hole pit outside off their sipping deck. We played some pinball, but my Tommy Dazes a were far gone. The sipping deck is an interior courtyard of the Mill lined with tall narrow windows for natural light and ventilation during the Mill Days.

I ordered a flight of four 5 ounce'rs to best sample their large line-up of ales and lagers AND not stagger out with Uber Ma. Ma & I actually shared a variety of their the IPA'S (Veridian, Daikaiju, and Smokey and the Banded) and "Eldir" a Smoked Malt Rauchbier. All a pleasant variety of flavors and bloom. Even the smokey malt; at first sip heavy flavor that subsided quickly into a smooth Bier.

The staff were fun to chat with and learn more about their craft and the process. Cans? A canning line wasn't obvious, so I asked... ...and, Yes, they actively can every week in another wing and there's a cooler at the Tasting/Filler Counter.

Impressive selection of stouts
Mar 2019 • Solo
Even though I don't drink a lot of beer (but love porters and stouts), I've been scoping out several breweries since I moved to the area so that when brew-loving family and friends visit, I'll know where to take them. I checked out Banded Horn Brewery and ordered a flight of four stouts -- the At Ease, Barrel-Aged Mountain, Woodsman Reserve, and Mt. Doom. All were phenomenal. I also like that they offer food, unlike other breweries -- different kinds of grilled cheese sandwiches made with a local bakery's sourdough, plus snacks ranging from sweet/spicy nuts, pickled veggies, gourmet popcorn, olives, pub cheese, pretzels, etc. Great place!

Cool place to grab a drink
Feb 2019 • Couples
My husband and I stopped in here before a late dinner for a quick beer. The place is large and could pack in a lot of people. They had games setup and tables around the place. We were able to order a beer and grab a seat quickly. They also have cans available to go.

Great Beer, Great Company
Mar 2018 • Friends
Great beer, great company. Not a pub but a tasting room, so just their beer, which is great. Try a flight to taste all. And stay awhile and get pizza from Portland Pie next door!!

Super cute little place, great beer!
Aug 2018 • Family
Love it! Everyone got a different beer and they were all delicious! No one scowled at us for bringing two babies in there, there were a bunch of pinball machine and video game plus, big family style tables and lots of boardgames... we stayed only about an hour in the late afternoon, but it seems like a great place to gather with friends!

I periodically frequent banded horn for a great
brewed beer. Banded Horn is conveniently located in downtown Biddeford , the bartenders are very
knowledgeable about the beers and make great selections to suit your taste

went up for a day trip and it was totally worth it! The mill was amazing! Plenty to look at and take in! The beer was fabulous, even took some home! I love downfall was parking was limited but there’s public parking near by.
