My teens and I had a great time--there were lots of berries to pick. The staff was efficient and helpful. The fruits were very tasty and the prices of fruits to take home were very reasonable. A very good experience altogether.

Picking cherries and berries is a wonderful experience for children. The right time is around the Jewish Feast of Shavuot (End of may, beginning of June) The place is actually smaller than it was a few years ago and many competitors have appeared: Kibbutz Ein Zivan, other Moshavim and even farmers. Yet the place is well maintained and worth the detour. A tip: You can buy fruit you haven't picked yourself ...Which actually I would recommend you to do ... Why ? What you pick and you don't eat, you haveXhave to pay for and take with you. But, yes the but is important, you can also buy fruit out of the shelf, and there is no doubt, no doubt at all that the purchased fruit is much better, tasty, sweet and red than what you have picked yourself. So my strong recommendation is the following: 1. Enjoy the picking with your kids, 2. Eat what you pick, 3. Do NOT pick more than you can eat (to avoid paying for it) 4. If you want to rake fruit back home with you, do not pick it but buy it on your way out ... I experienced it myself ... and the bought one was much much better... Enjoy :)…

There were also other berries we picked. All together we had a great time. Staff was wonderful, patient and knowledgeable. As for the price, it's not bad for a couple of hours of activity.…
