Small museum, but in 2 buildings. Based on Some of the Mormon history in that area. They do have missionary couple to help and answer question for you. Also near downtown which is also pretty.

We visited the tabernacle and learned a lot, mostly about the Mormon Battalion. The 24 minute video is well worth the time, I had heard of the battalion but had no idea of the some of the details. The tabernacle was also very interesting.

The older LDS couple in charge could not have been nicer, more welcoming, or more informative about the history of the Mormon battalion and other parts of Church history related to Council Bluffs. Very worthwhile for anyone interested in U.S. and/or early Church history.
