Most RV parks are 1.5-2 hours from downtown Chicago, but if there's room, the truck marshaling parking at McCormick Place on S. Moe Street near 31st allows RVs overnight. There are no facilities or utilities and cost varies depending on axles (ours was $30 per...More

This place is the biggest behemoth you'll ever encounter. You'll get lost and they'll charge you a fee for it. Then afterwards you'll eat a crappy lunch at one of the few restaurant choices in this monster. After that you'll deal with some union workers...More

Have been here 8 or 9 times over the past decade, presominately for the Chicago Autoshow. Each time McCormick is totally consistent and effecient at handling the large crowds. Makes going to huge events like this a breeze!

The quality of service provided by Mccormick Convention Center McCormick Place • 2301 S. King Drive • Chicago, Illinois 60616 is terrible, maybe non existent is more accurate. The available food at the Mccormick Convention Center is pretty cardboard.

I have been to McCormick Place for numerous functions....auto shows, restaurant related events, boat and RV shows and celebratory events. I'm amazed at the size but at the same time the ease of getting around. Directions are very clearly defined, incredibly clean and easily accessible...More

I attended a conference here. Service was great and I had the BEST vege burger of all times at the bar in the hotel. It is a few blocks from the lake with a gorgeous walking and biking trail. I highly recommend experiencing the trail....More

I’ve attended several IMTS tradeshows over the years. The 2018 layout in the North, East, South and West halls were multilevel. There were 17 miles of just isles at this event. Bring your walking shoes if you plan to attend the IMTS.

I have always had great success with any event I have had at McCormick Place. The bigger the even the better they do.

Here for a tradeshow and this place does not disappoint. Multiple hotels are within walking distance and connection through a skywalk.

Attended the Slate conference and it was a great experience and a great venue. Very large, many places to eat and drink.

I had not been to Mccormick Place for a trade show in over 15 years. I was impressed with the major expansion and renovation. It is nicely laid out, connected to multiple hotels and has its own Metra train station.

South Loop
This downtown neighborhood offers a variety of
activities ranging from cultural to sporting. If you
happen to visit during football season, you may bump
into a boisterous few fans on their way to a Bears
game on the southernmost tip of South Loop. On the
flip side, Museum Campus offers cultural and
educational experiences in its planetarium, museum and
aquarium, all situated along the lakefront. Grant Park

Parking is solid lots of space you would get a spot not sure the price it was not too bad for the event I attended. Uber is always a good option in the city. I would get an Uber and go downtown for dinner.
