Living in Europe, and having visited the majority of great Cathedrals here, it's pretty hard to impress me with one. This one managed that. The stone exterior is fantastic, but that's nothing to the interior that blew me away. The mix of great wood work,...More

We went to New Year mass and felt very welcome even if we are not from that community. The father was very good at the homily and was a very good place to thank God for the new year.

It was a joy to experience Mass in this stunning church. The architecture is stunning and there is an enormous pipe organ.

Beautiful Cathedral of Chicago Archdiocese. Masses on Sunday every 1 1/2 hours or so so no dawdling by priests! Beautiful inside and outside. Friendly Ministers if Welcome. Great location near Water Tower and Magnificent Mile.

Nice service (night) and parking next door on the lot (not readily apparent). Had a nice walk around the city for a few blocks afterwards, so it's in a good location

When I get in the spiritual mood, I make a visit to Holy Name Cathedral. I pray and reflect often on these occassions. It is very quiet.

It's a Church . . . go on in as long as it is not after visiting hours. I sincerely doubt if they appreciate cameras flashing though. While you're there, light a candle, say a prayer and leave a couple bucks in the box.
