- Skyah BKokomo, Indiana11 contributionsMuseum of Illusions ChicagoMy fiancé and I had an amazing time! The staff was SO friendly and welcoming. Our very first visit to a museum like this one and I was 100% pleased. There were a lot of children and families there but even just as an adult couple, we had a really amazing time. They even have a complimentary coat rack and locker for valuables, which was so convenient and helpful! I would 100% recommend The Museum of Illusions!! The only thing I would consider a “negative” about my experience is that it was a bit smaller than I had anticipated, but it was still packed with such cool things and fun photo ops!!Visited March 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 21 March 2023
- Gladis IChicago, Illinois13 contributionsBoggling mind experienceWhat a fun museum to visit for all ages. I'm glad we decided to go yesterday after visiting our friend. I was surprised at how much fun this place was. Every exhibit was fun to see and interact with other. I loved the color board and the mirrorsVisited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 30 April 2023
- Ian-Sébastien1 contributionNeed to stop and look at this!Loved the experience with the kids. (spent to much time on the Hanoi tower, nut it was fun lol). Take your time cause some illusion take time to see or figure out. And our brain in the tunnel is acting weird!Visited June 2023Written 29 June 2023
- Jenee BTampico, Illinois11 contributionsDecentNostalgic. The prints on the wall were similar to the books we read in junior high and high school. The interactive experiences were the best and being able to sit down and try the mind puzzles was fun. Small museum and pricey really for what is offered, however staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend it but wish they would lower the price.Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 14 August 2023
- Cheryl JIndianapolis, Indiana530 contributionsPricey but well run.It is really pricey for what you get. We took our time and was out under within the hour. BUT great for amazing picture taking opportunities. Lots and lots of laughs. And there are games to play in the gift shop that really enhanced our experience and you can buy them at a reasonable price too. It was crowded but not overly so. We generally only had to wait 1 to 2 groups before we had our turn with the popular picture taking opportunities. But its small so cant image fitting more people in anyway. Nice clean bathrooms at the end.Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 13 November 2023

- linettek20162 contributionsA different kind of museum! What a delightful hidden gem! We took our 11 year old granddaughter and all 3 of us had so much fun. It is an interactive museum for the young and old alike. There are plenty of employees there to help you and to suggest poses, take pictures on your phone and even edit them. Seth was exceptionally helpful! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 29 December 2023

What an unexpected wonderful experience this was. Our sons ages 13 and 7 were totally amused by this museum and my husband and I were also entertained. Clean, not too crowded, and staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it.

Looking to fill an extra hour of time in Chicago, among a variety of "small" museums in downtown Chicago, this one is a ton of fun with minimal time. We went on a Saturday afternoon & while there were plenty of people there, it never felt crowded & everyone was friendly about taking turns with the very, very interactive exhibits. Definitely come prepared to use you phone for photos.... a lot. Thankfully there's a bunch of really helpful staff on hand to help you strike the best poses & to take pics for you. You'll go through within about an hour & come out smiling!

We had so much fun! All the exhibits can be interactive if you want them to be, and that's where the fun is. It's a perfect place for people to create TikTok and Instagram videos. We laughed our butts off with all of the crazy fun pics and illusions we could create for ourselves.
