Authentic jazz club with nice atmosphere and interior.
All staff, from doorman to hostess and waiter was very friendly and polite.
Good music.
But don’t go there for the food as it was nothing special at all and not price worth.

I have not visited a jazz club previously, and I did not particularly enjoy jazz prior to my visit. However, it was recommended to my friends and I that we'd visit this jazz club to enjoy some music.

The performing band was fantastic and performed a solid, yet enjoyable repertoire of songs for the audience to enjoy. The band speaker was extremely charismatic and charming, and it was so great to enjoy an unfamiliar brand of music whilst seeing the band so passionate and in love with the music they were performing.

Food (dinner) was served before and during the performance. Whilst on the higher end in terms of cost, the food was also quite good and the servers were very polite too.

We made reservations for 6 pm show. Its $15 per person and kids are welcome. They just don't seat you at the bar. They do take credit cards. The jazz band was awesome and we enjoyed an hour of music. They have a full dinner menu, drinks. We got the Brussel sprouts, chocolate cake, prohibitionist drink and moscow mule. Our sever was really nice. The waiters are really efficient cleaning up for the next show. They don't welcome chit chat and the focus is on the show. It was a memorable experience.

We had pre-booked and had a warm welcome on arrival. Recommend booking in advance, as we saw others turned away. We were shown to an amazing table in direct line of the stage. The waiter was friendly and attentive. We shared a starter of homemade nachos and dip, and then had main courses of pasta primavera and Louisiana ribs - all of which we enjoyed. The main event was the music - we saw Frank Catalano (saxophonist). Frank and his band were brilliant. A very enjoyable evening and would highly recommend.

I'm a big Jazz fan of some 35 years who has been fortunate enough to attend live gigs at places like The Jazz Cafe in London and The Blue Note Jazz Club in New York and so when in Chicago for a few days I grabbed the opportunity to visit one of the best known Jazz Venues in Chicago - "Andy's Jazz Club."
The admission fee was US$15 a head and the Club is also a restaurant (See my other review). There is a bar and tables set out around a stage. The decor and lighting was really cool and made for an intimate atmosphere within walls that were literally draped in Jazz history. The set that was performed was not massively long but the musicians were top of their games and the tunes they played were superb. All the Club staff were excellent too.
I totally loved my evening at Andy's Jazz Club and it will be one I remember for a long time. I hope to come again next time I am in Chicago from the UK.

Andy’s never disappoints us. We try to go to at least one show every time we are in Chicago. Last month was our first time back since the pandemic. So glad to see the same excellent quality of musicians. The staff is friendly and the food is surprisingly good for a jazz club. Try their chocolate cake for dessert too very yummy!

This was a horrible experience for myself and my family besides the food being bland and overpriced, we went to celebrate my grandmothers 80th birthday and we purchased a $200 cake that was ruined by staff at this location we proceed to try and resolve the situation however the Management and Owner were very dismissive they never saw the cake but they quickly shifted the blame to us and said it was our fault that the cake was ruined they never apologized or attempted at any point to resolve the issue . Unfortunately my grandmother never got to see her cake and her night was overshadowed by their lack of care human decency and their rude service.

Brilliant experience!
Glad we booked some weeks in advance, would recommend you do that to get the sitting you’d prefer.
Intimate small venue, all with good views of the stage. Great staff. Good choice on the menu, food comes out quick and hot.
Music amazing. Don’t forget to take tip money for the artists (this is aimed at my fellow Brits 😂).
Loved it!!
