The top of the bluff provides SPECTACULAR views of the Flint River down below. The trails are fairly easy and well-marked, although there are opportunities to go off-trail into dead-ends. The picnic area is lovely near the river and the restrooms are are quite clean...More

This is a really pretty part of Georgia. We love playing on the beach and kayaking. It's a great slower pace for families, picnicing and such.

It took us about 90 minutes from the Riverdale area to arrive at the park. There is a store where you can purchase camping/hiking things. We've been to other state parks and the stores are much larger but they had a nice supply of items....More

The cabins are cute/rustic. Has double bunk beds. Bring own linens. Sleeps 4 microwave fridge. Water right outside cabin. AC. Showers/restrooms available

Cabins are nice and new. Plenty of space and furniture for our comfort. Beautiful setting so close to our big city. A great escape!

They also have grills. Nice area very clean with bathrooms and a park for kids. Wear shoes if you getting in the water it has a rocky bottom. The $5 per car fee can be paid at the shack upon entrance but if no one is there... More
