There are several miles of Forest Service Road to get to the trail head. Parking is pretty limited and we ended up going on past the trail head and finding a place in the road wide enough we could park. Nice hike and fairly easy.

GPS map attached to this listing is wrong. Once we found the location, it’s a little drive down a dirt road. Trail head can be easy to miss, but there were cars parked along the road. The hike is easy to moderate, 1 mi each way. There is a somewhat steep grade at the end. The falls are quite pretty. It’s a good distance for kids to hike.

My husband and I took our small pup on this hike and we all enjoyed it! The pup especially loved splashing around in the water. Beautiful scenery and lovely waterfall.

The hike to the falls is about a mile long and is mostly easy, making it a great one for beginning or casual hikers. The falls themselves are more impressive than the Fall Branch Falls, with a larger cascade. It is also possible to fairly easily wade into the water and go under the falls. A slight caution, the trail passes close to the creek where we heard and spotted other smaller falls, and there are smaller trails branching off in order to get a closer look at various spots of the creek. This made me worry at first that I had somehow missed the actual falls. Continue until you reach the sign at the fork where you can turn left to visit the falls or right to join the other trails. Coming from the north, there is about five miles of narrow gravel road that is a bit slow going, in order to reach this trail.
