Great beach for all ages! Sand is soft, powdery quartz, almost like walking on flour. Never hot, so kids feet won't burn. Gentle waves wash upon the shore. Always peaceful.

The beach sports great clean sand and plenty of shallow water. You’ll find about 50 feet of very shallow water, about 6”-1’ in height for kids to run around in or a baby to sit up comfortably or just a good spot to lay on...More

We don't understand the rating as America's No1. OK, it is safe for kids with no obvious rips, and generally clean, but it lacks any shade, is almost always heaving with people, and every time we have been, it smells really bad, like foul water...More

The sand is soft and white and perfect for digging your feet into and building sand castles. The water is clear so you can see the bottom, which I appreciate since I don't like wondering what is swimming around my legs. Overall, it's just a...More
