Overview
More
San Sebastian Winery, founded in 1996 is located at 157 King Street, St. Augustine, Florida in one of Henry Flagler’s old East Coast Railway buildings located just a few blocks from historic downtown. According to historians, this area is the birthplace of American wine, dating back to 1562. Today, San Sebastian ranks as one of Florida's premium wineries, and remains a pioneer in the development of table, sparkling and dessert wines from hybrid and muscadine grapes. Port and Cream Sherry dessert wines are produced by and sold under the San Sebastian brand. All together, San Sebastian labels have won over 1,600 awards for excellence in winemaking, with more coming in each season. Every year more than 100,000 people are expected to visit the winery’s extensive tasting room and wine shop. San Sebastian Winery has an overall production of over 80,000 cases, (that’s over 960,000 bottles!). San Sebastian wines are sold at the winery and at major supermarkets and wine shops throughout Florida and Georgia. “The Cellar Upstairs” Wine, Jazz & Blues Bar, open weekends, is located on the rooftop of the Winery building and is a best kept secret with locals. The Cellar Upstairs features incredible live music from a wide range of talented local and regional Bands. Relax to the music and enjoy the tremendous views overlooking the St. Augustine skyline while enjoying a glass of San Sebastian Wine, draft beer and light appetizers.

One of our stops was the winery, you get a small plastic cup and go through the winery stoping at each of the wine stations. You get to taste a white and red at each stop. The best tasting is your last station, for $5...More

When we go to wineries, we are used to a relaxed atmosphere and some chit chat with the people there. This was not the atmosphere here. It was very business-like and impersonal. We received a small cup in went from one location to the next...More

Wonderful tour and free wine tasting at St Sebastian Winery. Since we drove up we decided to take some home w/ us. I’m generally not a wine drinker but the St Sebastian Vitner’s Red won me over.

As a Florida native, this was my first time visiting the distillery yesterday (7/24/18). They have guided tours every half hour and this was a fantastic experience. It isn't a very long tour, so if you have a little time to kill, definitely check it...More

On our way out of town, we stopped for the first tour of the day. It was early, so the brevity of the tour was appreciated. The wine tasting was fun and our guide (from UCF) was great. Purchased a few bottles as gifts and...More

No charge to park in lot at rear, and in addition, the trolley stops there if you happen to be using it.
