We spent a week at a resort on this Beach. We walked every morning and multiple times during the day. It was a very clean beach. And we had a wonderful time looking for shells.

This is a wonderful beach centrally located in beautiful Rivera Beach next to West Palm Beach and close to great restaurants on the beach.

It's free has lifeguards and restrooms for the public use. There's a beautiful beach great swimming and fun snorkeling.

Being from out of town, someone recommended Riviera Beach. I was pleasantly surprised to see loads of free parking, various places to eat any meal, and the clean beach. It was so enjoyable that I went back the next day. I ate at NY Bagels twice and Two Drunken Goats and Johnny Longboats once each. The beach is kept very clean and was not crowded, although I went during the week. I highly recommend it!

The beach is pretty and wide. Restaurants are on the premises, which is nice. We arrived in the morning and the bathrooms were flooded with water dripping from the roof, no toilet paper in most stalls and stopped up toilets. No one attended to them all day. Our kids are 11-19, and we love beach volleyball, which is why we headed here. However, the nets are all labeled “beach tennis” and are in general too low to play actual volleyball. When using the courts we encountered glass all over that we had to keep picking up, as well as burrs, a nail, items from trees that were painful to step on, and the worst was when we discovered a used syringe. We brought it to the local firefighters working the area, and they told us to just throw it away and that overdoses happen here all the time. A little unsettling as you are trying to play volleyball with your kids. In addition, homeless people sleep all day in the picnic shelters next to the courts. Then when we headed to the beach our kids uncovered a packaged condom in the sand. It is unfortunate because the beach itself is nice, but really disappointed with the way it is maintained. And I think there should be a warning on the courts that you may come across dangerous items in the sand. We have visited a lot of beaches in Florida over the years, as well as other states, and we have never come across this kind of environment where we worried about even walking in the sand.

Seems well taken care of and safe.

Very wide beach with soft tan sand and lots of small seashells to pick up.

Best thing I can say here is free parking and close walking distance but other than that, not one of my favorite beaches. It’s a steep step to get down to the water from the beach and it isn’t a great walking beach as you sink a lot and the slope of the narrow walking area. The waves are small which is good for children but not as fun for adults. There is a bathroom and foot wash so that’s a plus but my favorite beaches are in the Carolina’s where like Daytona, they are solid and flat and very walkable.

We have been coming here for years, its going down hill. the beach is dirty with trash every where. I asked the life guard for some information and he couldn't give my family the time of day. I later learned the life guards were drinking beer in the life guard stand. Very unprofessional, I think his name was Eddie

I really like this beach. There's a lot of beach area here. A good choice of stores and restaurants nearby, volleyball courts, shaded areas near the parking, the list goes on.

We regularly walked from the southern tip of Singer Island to approximately three miles north towards John D McArthur State Park. The beach was a disgrace and unsightly, was this because it was the end of the hurricane season?

There was a line of deep seaweed/ kelp which remained in situ the whole two weeks we stayed in the vicinity. Entwined within the seaweed was a plethora of plastic ranging from bags, bottles, single use drinks containers, straws, string, rope etc. This was not really surprising since during our stay we were horrified by the indiscriminate use of single use plastic by bars and restaurants. In fact it was a serious factor limiting our enjoyment that it was very difficult to get an expensive glass of wine in anything other than a plastic glass. Styrofoam cups were also used by many establishments. The word recycling does not seem to have hit this side of the Atlantic.

We only saw one hotel attempting to clear the detritus from their frontage(Marriott).

We saw people on their sunbeds with seaweed and plastic just inches from their feet........how can you do that?

If I was a resident here I would be wanting to know whose responsibility it was to maintain the beach environment. Who so ever it was, was failing miserably. Is it the hotels? Is it the Beach Services, or is their job just to fleece people of money for sun beds? Is it the town council, if so they are failing in their duty.

I cannot believe that so many people have stated that this beach is clean.

It would take a mechanised beach tractor with rakes and a trailer about an hour to remove the mess every morning as they do on many European beaches so that when the public arrive the beach is pristine.
