Boat trip in the Kragero archipelago is full of adventure and excitement. Experience Southern Norway's most beautiful archipelago with Kragero Fjordbatselskap! Kragero Fjordbatselskap AS was established 1896. The company operates today transport service in the whole Kragero archipelago, on water and land. We have three ferries, the M/F Kragero, the B/F Jesper and the B/F Naus. The M/F Kragero is our new pride. It was launched the spring 2005, and has a capacity for 250 passengers and 24 personal vehicles. Both Jesper and Naus have a capacity for 200 passengers and 11 vehicles. All of our ferries have build for breaking down thick ice. Kragero Fjordbatselskap has therefore in over 20 years had responsibility for the industry in the harbour area.

Just do a long trip to the islands for the great views. The coast around Kragerø is very beautiful and well worth a ferry ticket even of you don't plan visiting any of the island.

We went on the Kragero, the ferry boat that carries both cars and walk-on passengers to the various islands out of Kragero, Norway. We only went to Skatoy, a 10 minute ride and were "walk-ons." Fare is collected on the boat. You can pay cash...More

Reliable and efficient ferry. We do not own a boat at the time and the ferry is a great option for us to travel from Stabbestad to Kragerø town, and to Jomfruland. It is a must as it is a great way to see the...More

Kragerø must be the most beautiful town in Norway. Edvard Munch painted here, and the town is still a destination for art - paintings and glass art. A very lively town in the summer, lots of concerts. This ferry trip is amazing, winding between islands,...More

I travel often by the very small ferries to get to my summer house at Tåtøy, a small island in the Kragerø fjord. The sea and the landscape are the most beautiful in Norway and the ferries are so important for people who live and...More

Excellent for trips to the islands outside Kragerø, one of the finest archipelagos in Europe. Jomfruland ("Virgin Island") is perhaps the peak here, but there is a number of smaller and bigger islands, where one can bring a bike, or just go hiking. The area...More
