We went to Universal and our first stop was to Harry Potter’s world to the Escape from Gringotts ride. Unfortunately we visited just before New Years and Universal was not ready for the crowds. The line for Gringotts went out of Harry Potter world and Dow the street along the lake. They had not opened the queues behind the Gringotts entrance right away and getting into that area meant walking through a mob of people ho surged to that area looking for the beginning of the line. It was a non-socially distanced mess. Once we got into the queue it was a little better. The ride itself was a lot of 4-D fun, but the area between the Dragon and the Bank was still a crowded mob. We got out of Harry Potter world as fast as we could. We came back later in the evening when many people had left and it was better and less crowded but it was a poor start to our visit to Universal.…

GREAT!! We are huge Harry Potter fans and this was AMAZING! Lines were not long, they had staff at every ride putting hand sanitizer before you get on any ride.

The creativity, craftsmanship, and performances made Rowling's world as depicted in the movies come to life. Highly recommend Gringott's ride and photo op, Hagrid's Motorbike (the side car rides a bit rough, the bike rides smoother), the castle queue (should have had crackers before the dark ride, though--queasy), and especially Ollivander's wand ceremony! Oh, and hot butterbeer!! The butterbeer ice cream and butterbeer potted cream were also really good.…
